The Farmhouse
Welcome to The Farmhouse, located at 215 Beechwood Ave in Coventry, a restaurant that has built a reputation for offering both comforting pub classics and vibrant Indian cuisine under one roof. From the outside, it looks like a traditional British pub, but once inside, you’re welcomed into a lively dining space where the aromas of spices mingle with the warmth of freshly cooked grills.
The menu is what makes The Farmhouse truly stand out. On one side, you’ll find traditional pub dishes like fish and chips, steak and ale pie, and burgers stacked high with toppings. On the other, there’s an extensive range of Indian dishes, from creamy chicken tikka masala to sizzling mixed grills and tender lamb curries. This dual offering means groups don’t have to compromise—everyone can find something that suits their taste. During my visit, the mixed grill impressed with its smoky flavor and generous portions, while a friend ordered the king prawn curry, which had a perfect balance of spice and freshness.
Drinks are equally versatile, with local ales, beers, wines, and cocktails available, making it a suitable spot for both casual meals and celebratory evenings. According to local reviews, The Farmhouse is also known for its Sunday roasts, which pair hearty portions with attentive service.
The atmosphere is busy but welcoming, with staff handling even packed evenings with professionalism and friendliness. Families, friends, and couples all seem to feel at home here, whether they’re dropping in for a quick drink or settling down for a full three-course dinner.
Overall, The Farmhouse in Coventry offers a unique dining experience by bridging two culinary traditions, and its generous portions, varied menu, and lively atmosphere make it a trusted location for locals and visitors alike.

Absolutely brilliant evening well lit and friendly environment. Aesthetics were very calming for my autistic son. Food was amazing and the staff were always helpful and wire a smile. Special mention to Heron, She was brilliant and very observant to all our needs and was just a very well mannered and pleasant girl.
So 5 stars for the service. And 5 stars for the location, the quality of decor and beautiful furniture … and amazing toilets. But only 3 stars for the food I’m afraid. The mixed grill was quite bad tbh. The meat was very chewy at some points and perfect at others. The steak chips were rock hard with some of them and fine with some of them. It surprised us that the food came out so quick - about 5 mins for a medium steak - which can only mean that the food was half or fully cooked to start with. The best part was starter short ribs and lamb chops. So overall, cook your food from fresh (especially at the prices charged) and everyone will come and leave delighted. Overall we had a great time and thanks to your amazing staff who couldn’t do enough for us.
This is the best restaurant you will not regret coming here. Everything was luxury and for a very good price. All the staff is lovely but our server Muhammad Usama gave us top notch customer service. I highly recommend this place!!!!!
We celebrated a birthday at The Farmhouse and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The food was simply amazing... flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion. What truly stood out, though, was the impeccable service. All the staff were courteous, attentive, and made us feel genuinely looked after. A special mention goes to Fizzy, one of the waiters who truly elevated our evening. He was constantly checking in, making sure we had everything we needed, and brought such a positive energy to the table. His friendliness and attention to detail made our celebration feel even more memorable. Thank you to everyone at The Farmhouse for making the day so special. We’ll definitely be back!
Haven’t been here for a few years and it did not disappoint. We went on a very busy weekend night and it was heaving, although plenty of parking. Definitely book a table beforehand! Loved the playlist being played, decor and ambience was nice although I felt the seating was placed rather close to other people. It was definitely more of a family environment rather than for couples. Could not fault the starters at all, the crab toast was a great pick and incredibly tasty. We waited around 20 minutes for the mains to come out, my husband loved his Indian and fish and chips however the portion size was humongous, I liked my duck although I feel like I’ve had better from elsewhere, next time I will definitely chose a different main. We ended the visit with an amazing pistachio milk cake. Will definitely be returning.
